Saturday in Sussex
We drove down to Camber and Rye in East Sussex on Saturday.
It felt like spring until we sat in the sand dunes to eat ice cream
then we remembered it was February in England!
Sunday flowers
My friend Elise and I got up early and headed to Columbia rd for flowers
then Brick lane to potter around and eat nice food.
Friday already
My week has been shockingly lazy but I feel like thats what I needed. I went into school for a few hours to sort out our classroom and build a shop in the roleplay area but apart from that I've enjoyed pottering around doing not very much. I feel a bit guilty now my week off is almost over and I've achieved NOTHING! Oh well...
Wednesday
Today was nice and relaxing. It started with nice mail, this cute broach and
owl from WAYAYA. I ate a long breakfast in bed watching Californication.
I then made a quick trip to Ikea ( I was there and back within 2 hours) and
bought a lovely blanket from the PS range (pictured above) I came home
and tried out my new blanket with a quick afternoon nap before I made
scones and sorted out my necklaces and hung up all the bits and pieces
that have been lying all over the place driving Henrik mad!
The beginning of a week off
Its half term so no school for me. I fully intend to be very lazy
all week long. Lots of lounging, films, cafes and maybe some shopping
but Im planning on taking it very easy. I started my week with breakfast
in bed watching a few episodes of Greys Anatomy that I've been saving up.
Perfect.
Lazy Sunday
Grey, rainy, dull day so best to stay warm indoors. Lazy afternoon on the sofa,
scone baking and apart from that not much movement from either of us.
Saturday
An early trip into town to meet a friend for breakfast.
Some treats from Selfridges, planting some bulbs to
hurry spring along and an afternoon getting to know my
new mac (a very early birthday present from Henrik)
Its funny how far ahead my new mac is to my 3 year old
one.
I love these books
Whenever I have some spare time I love to pour over these Jeu de Paume books. I love seeing inside other peoples places and finding inspiration.
Recycled goodness
I love these little guys from the Brick Lane Sunday Up-market.
There were too many to choose from so I think I'll have to go
back for more!

Snow day
Today in London we had the heaviest snow for 18 years. School was closed so no work for me and Henrik could not get to work cause there were no trains. We had fun with our friends on Primrose Hill all day and then came home, drank hot chocolate and got cosy.
